Physical Education

Our Physical Education program develops children’s strength, coordination and skills.

Students participate in exercises to build strength and stamina and engage in rhythmic activities and games to develop balance, agility, and coordination.

Students also build skills for team sports, learning skills of sportsmanship, collaboration and teamwork. Students learn about the positive relationship between good nutrition and strength and energy and are encouraged to develop positive habits and attitudes toward healthful living and hygiene.

In addition, students have time to play outdoors for recess 2 times a day, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. Students have access to playground equipment, a basketball court, a soccer/football field and a GaGa court.
